Textile Services with 30 years of tradition

BIM Textil Mietservice Betriebshygiene GmbH, based in Gerstungen at the border to Thuringia and Hesse, is a constantly growing family business with more than 30 years of business tradition and 60 employees. The BIM Group itself has a total of more than 130 employees.

Starting as a small cleaning company with 10 employees, it became a high-performance textile cleaning and laundry business over the years. The entrepreneurial vision in the early 90’s enabled the company to grow, actually had been forced to grow, since the meanwhile global cleaning industry otherwise did not leave any room for the “small one’s” in this sector.

We consider it as our corporate responsibility in providing training and education to young people each year

An additional way for a company to get innovative is to care about the future generation in the region. BIM is committed to vocational orientation at schools in Thuringia and Hesse in order to introduce young people at an early stage with a realistic impression to the world of work.

The company has established collaborations with schools and is supporting, for instance, the practice-oriented career choice preparation at occupational markets, company visits and expert discussions. The collaboration demonstrates its success due to the fact that most students, who are applying for apprenticeship places within the company, come from the collaborating schools and at this early point of time, already have a clear idea of what to expect during apprenticeship and when working in the job.

Aware of the responsibility.
